Faction Bike Studio is looking for a CAD surface modeler to join its product development team. Do you have ideas and expertise that you would like to share? Great! We’d like to benefit from your know-how while we help you improve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model in 3D bike frames, parts, components, and accessories according to requirements.
• Develop construction methods with the flexibility to efficiently adapt the form to multiple frames to fit various sizes and configurations.
• Design for manufacturing methods such as composite molding, injection molding, and forging.
• Stringently ensure surface continuity and reflection profiles.
• Check and modify technical drawings, 3D models, and prototypes.
• Measure prototypes to validate compliance.
• Produce technical drawings and bills of materials.
• Manage and update the parts library.

Requirements:

• At least three years of experience in CAD surface modeling.
• College diploma in mechanical engineering or industrial design.
• Excellent knowledge of SolidWorks surface/solid modeling and technical drawings.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Good knowledge of technical issues, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience producing technical 3D surface models for production.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
• Sense of observation, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
• Bike enthusiast is an asset.
